Horde '22 - Readme ================================ Map created by Wilson999. Inspiration from Horde, by Socrates. First version released May 11, 2021. Latest version released June 13, 2021. After a time it will start working properly. The year is 2021, not 2022. But, 22 just sounds way better. Thanks to Petethegoat and Spark for playtesting! Beta 1 released May 11, 2021. Beta 1.1 released May 13, 2021. - Added allies for when you play solo! - Added camping punishment for in rocket launcher room if you really hide out there too long. Will be added to other refuge rooms too. - Adjusted flood event so it floods a little higher for more impact - and better icky swimming ;) - Fixed spectating players not having gear stripped - Fixed 'restart' vote option at game end not working - Removed grenades from helper storeroom spawn, because otherwise it would be too tempting for camping. Beta 1.2 released June 13, 2021 - Fixed allies spawning when you start a game with >1 person - Max armor scales with difficulty: 1 player = 100, 2 players = 75, 3+ players = 50. - Monster spawn rates scale with player number - Battery + helmet armor given increases to 50 instead of 25 when there are 1 - 2 players. - Added some automated monster spawning balance for low player counts. - When players join game in progress, one life is added to the total to compensate for the life they use when spawning - Fixed a number of issues with the Life Support Machine - Added numerical displays for spawn room and Life Support Machine HP - Switched out Vortigaunt + Otis allies for one Male Assassin w/ Sniper Rifle - Tweaked ground floor marines to have a medic + SAW grunt, plus more HP - Stopped allies blocking the narrow alley at the back - Reduced the rate of tower zombie spawns in SP - Crossbow bolts are more powerful - Getting headshots on enemies does x2 damage instead of x3 - Alien slaves do more damage with their zaps - Adjusted balance of some events - Various map detail improvements
